How to Start a New Company in Nicaragua

Any company that's willing to operate under Free Zone Regime must be approved by Free Zone Comission (CNZF) previous to start any construction or operation. Free Zone regime is actually operating under the Exporting Processing Zones Law that's being revised and improved by government.
How to get approved and start a new Co under Free Zone Regime in Nicaragua?

2. Constitute the Company:
- Constitution deed
- Legal representation
- Inscription of the Co
- To make sure you comply with all the necessary legal rules and procedures, contact the most experienced lawyers in the industry - ANITEC members.
3. Start working on Feasibility Study:
- To be approved by the CNZF the Co must present an investment plan and feasibiity study, plus all the permissions and authorization letters requested (described below).
- Contract somebody who is familiar with the industry and who has previous experience in preparing projects for Free Zone Corporation. Contact ANITEC for recommendation.
- Feasibility study must include all the engineering and developmental plans.
4. Request all the permissions and authorizations necessary:
- MARENA: Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment
- MTI: Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure
- MITRAB: Ministry of Labor
- Alcaldia: depending on where you decide to establish your Co, you have to obtain the authorization of Mayer's office
5. Summit your project to CNZF for approval
6. DGA, Treasury, CNZF inspection visits
7. Start operating
